At Bush Eye Safaris, we understand that travel plans may change. Our refund and cancellation terms are designed to be fair while accounting for advance reservations, park fees, and supplier commitments.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required to confirm all bookings. This deposit secures accommodation, park permits, and logistical arrangements.
Cancellation fees are applied as follows based on how far in advance you cancel before your departure date:

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, subject to bank processing times.
If Bush Eye Safaris must cancel or significantly modify a safari due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, safety concerns), clients will be offered:
Failure to arrive on the confirmed safari start date without prior written notice will be treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and travel delays.
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and written confirmation from Bush Eye Safaris. Verbal agreements or enquiries do not constitute a confirmed booking.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the safari start date. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation without refund of the deposit.
Prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated and are subject to change due to government taxes, park fee adjustments, or fuel surcharges until full payment is received.
Bush Eye Safaris acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers (lodges, airlines, transport providers). While we take reasonable care in selecting partners, we are not liable for acts or omissions of third parties.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit for travel and meet all vaccination or entry requirements for Tanzania and any other countries visited.
Bush Eye Safaris shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or government restrictions.
Bush Eye Safaris respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
Information is used solely for booking management, communication, compliance, and improving customer experience. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
All payments are securely processed through Stripe. Bush Eye Safaris does not store full card details on our servers. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant and uses industry-standard encryption.
We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss.
